Guidelines for Manuscripts

Submission: Manuscripts should be submitted electronically to jwil@saintmarys.edu. A separate document providing title, author name(s), affiliation(s), and contact information should also be attached.

Manuscript format: Manuscripts prepared in Word are preferred. Type in a font no less than 10 point, double-spaced throughout (including bibliography, notes, citations, and tables) with a two-inch left margin, and one-inch margins elsewhere. A 120-word abstract should be included. In order to allow for anonymous review, author name(s) and affiliation(s) should appear only a separate document that also includes the title of the manuscript. An abbreviated version of the title should appear on every page of the manuscript. Do not embed figures or tables in the document. Attach them after the references.

Manuscript length: Twenty-five pages of text maximum, exclusive of bibliography/references, notes, figures, tables, and charts.

Manuscript style: Most recent edition of APA, Chicago, or MLA accepted. Use endnotes rather than footnotes.

Multiple Submissions: Please inform us if the manuscript is being considered by another publication. Manuscripts already published elsewhere will not be considered.
