In 2008, Saint Mary’s established a direct student exchange program with Ewha Women’s University in Seoul, South Korea.  Ewha Women's University was established in 1886 as the first higher education institution for Korean women. It is now one of the most prestigious universities in Korea and the largest women’s university in the world. 

Eligible students pay the regular tuition, room and board at Saint Mary’s College, and retain their financial aid. Students choose from a wide range of courses (in English) and Korean language courses offered, with pre-approval from their academic advisors, and can study for a year or semester.

Students must have a 2.5 cumulative GPA to be eligible for this program. Korean language is not required.
